I remember reading a 07/08 Durex survey on the average frequency of sex in diff. countries. Americans having sex once every 4.3 days, well below the global average of once every 3.5 days, with only the Japanese (7.6) and residents of Hong Kong (4.5) having less sex.

That's pretty sad for Japan, considering its market in the online porno industry. So they like to show others, but not do it themselves? That's certainly some kind of fetish.

But it's a vicious cycle. If u feel stressed, u'll suck in bed. And the more u suck in bed, the less likely u'll do it, leading to even more stress.

The ultimate cure?
Just think about the cycle "reversed".

With the likes of C.Ronaldo, L.Messi, and S.Aguero being the hottest young talents on the field,
the search is on for the next young prodigy.
Samir Nasri was someone I rated highly, but he's plying his trade for Arsenal already. (Damn.)
Nevertheless, here is someone we should all look out for.

Ibrahim Afellay.
Dribbling pace excellent, finishing still needs some touching up, movement off-the-ball is fantastic, and someone who can play across the pitch as an attacking midfielder or a wing-forward.
Needs some bulking up though, as the "physical" players unsettled him at times.

Impressive he is, an Arsenal scout has already seen him playing for PSV 17 times.

Scouts of Liverpool and Rafael Benitez, may I suggest this player to u.
And we'll be witnessing his immense potential this Wednesday when we take on PSV.

Ooh. Looks like everyone's trying to do something in space. Publicity for the nation?

Why not do something else. Something more extraordinary. Like the first Moonwalk in space, maybe US can consider firing Michael Jackson up to Mars, for a 10 km Moonwalk on the red sands there?

Or how about shooting a chicken up into space? To capture the first laying of egg by a chicken. As we know space is a vacuum, imagine the egg accelerating downwards forever as there's no resistant force acting on it.

Both these will generate far more publicity, not to mention the entertainment for us folks on planet earth.

My PC has crashed.

Rock, pebbles, sand, water

I'm actually learning japanese on my own.
So basically, i dl-ed some ebooks and tried to sieve some good info from them.
Fascinatingly, I came across an article on time-management.
The author was actually sharing his views on how to spend just 10 min a day reviewing new jap words.

So here I quote:

Here's an interesting analogy I found on the Internet on managing your time:

A professor walks into the room carrying an empty 10-gallon water jug and dragging an obviously heavy bag. He places them on the teacher's desk. Without a word, he begins placing white rocks, just big enough to fit through the mouth of the jug, into the jug until they reach the very top.

"Is it full?" he asks. The class nods.
"Maybe not," he says. He then stuffs tiny pebbles into the jug and the pebbles find their way through the cracks in the rock. "Full now?" he asks. The whole class nods. He then shovels sand into the jug, occasionally shaking the jug, and the tiny grains sift through the rocks and pebbles. "OK," he says, "now is it full?" The class nods in unison. He smiles. He then slowly pours water into the jug until a water glass is finally empty.

"The lesson here," he says, "is that there is always more room in our lives than we think there is. When you think you're out of time, there is still more available if you look for it."

Here's the time-saving payoff:

The ROCKS are the important things we have to accomplish regularly to be successful. They go into our "time jug" first, because they are most important.
The PEBBLES represent those things we may not like to do, but we must do. They go in next. The SAND represents things that we should do, we may even like to do, but they're not as important.
The WATER represents the few remaining things that make a difference.
If you reverse the order, putting in the water, then the sand, then the pebbles, there will not be enough room for the rocks. So prioritize your activities and make sure the rocks go on your schedule first.

That's all from the book.
I have seen some brilliant articles on time-management but none came across so simple yet effective, using pebbles and crap.

Brilliant analogy I would say.
I'll save it for my kids.

Intro

Hi boys.

I'm now 23, 3rd year Electrical Engineering undergrad, and experiencing "the" major phase change in life.
Time to settle down, be serious, save up for marriage, and what else?

Folks around me have been telling me all their stories.
Things that they should've done, regretted not doing, shed a tear for, etc.

Here's my take.
Life is about dreams, for without dreams there isn't motivation for living.
So go on, embrace ur dreams, achieve what u set out for, be it simple happiness, owning a multi-national company, having laid 50 women...

Do what u really want to.
But before u throw ur books out and head out to party cos that's what i told ya,
listen to my entire story.

Sad to disappoint, but not now boys.
Enough said for the first post.
